The Catalan cluster of advanced textile materials

 

Tèxtils.CAT is a cluster, with a non-profit association structure, formed by companies and organisations in the value chain of the advanced textile materials sector in Catalonia.

Its main objectives are to promote innovation, foster links in the sector and to give visibility to the cluster and its members at an international level to boost the green and digital transition.

ADDTEX meeting

On 3rd and 4th July, the cluster team was in Prato, participating in an ADDTEX project meeting.

ADDTEX Innovation Bootcamp

From 2nd to 5th July, 25 students from different European countries joined in Prato to participate at the ADDTEX Innovation Bootcamp.

Launch of xBUILD-EU second call

xBUILD-EU has launched its 2nd call which will be open until the 2nd October’24.

Visit of the Textile ETP

On 5th July the cluster hosted Textile ETP at our offices.

Meeting with a North Carolina delegation

Tèxtils.CAT met in Prato, together with the NTT, with an American delegation representing the North Carolina Textile Innovation and Sustainability Engine.

AEI Tèxtils is now Tèxtils.CAT

TECHTEX meeting

On 26th and 27th June, the cluster has participated in a TECHTEX project meeting held in Rabat and Casablanca.

Tèxtils.CAT continues consolidating the added value of a competitive and clean industrial model

Tèxtils.CAT has started Sustaintex project. It is co-funded by the Erasmus+ program and it focuses on international cooperation for education and training.

On 19th June, the cluster held its 16th General Assembly, with the participation of more than 20 members.
