AEI Tèxtils, the cluster of advanced textile materials in Catalonia, participated, on 18 March, at the webinar “Intercluster collaboration to increase the competitiveness of the Europe’s textile ecosystem”.

This webinar is part of a series of webinars organized periodically by the European Clusters Alliance since the beginning of the pandemic. It is an open exchange group which consists of clusters, associations, institutions, universities, companies, social economy stakeholders and other entities, and counts with close collaborative links to the European Commission.

The objective of these sessions is to find solutions to the challenges brought to us by the crisis, identifying disrupted value and supply chains in Europe´s industry and making suggestions for its economic recovery.

Ariadna Detrell, Cluster Manager at AEI Tèxtils, shared the presentation with Bruno Mougin, project manager at the French cluster TECHTERA. The two clusters started their collaboration in 2011.

During the presentation, the two organizations were briefly introduced and EU-TEXTILE2030 was presented, as an effective tool for long-term collaboration between European clusters in the advanced textile materials sector.

EU-TEXTILE2030 was created in November 2019 as a European Economic Interest Grouping based in Brussels. AEI Tèxtils holds the Secretary.

The recording of the webinar is available here.
