EU-TEXTILE2030, the European Advanced Textile Materials cluster, in which AEI Tèxtils is partner, met in Lyon for the last project meeting hosted by Techtera on November 21st and 22nd as the last step of the project life cycle.
The meeting in Lyon assisted to review the progress of the overall project outcomes and to present, during the project final event, the new European association in Advanced Textiles Materials, EU-TEXTILE2030, as European Economic Interest Group (EEIG).
Six consortium partners founded this new legal entity as a platform to promote internationalization, innovation and circular economy within the sector. Mr. Felipe Carrasco holds the Presidency, AEI Tèxtils as secretary, Techtera as vice-president, CLUTEX as treasurer whereas ATEVAL, CS-POINTEX and SACHSEN! TEXTIL as board members. The EEIG has become the cornerstone to formalize the continuation of the cluster cooperation that started back in 2012 with TEXTILE2020 project and continued in the project EU-TEXTILE2030.
